So yeah,I've had this sucker for about 3-1/2 years and got it used..I haven't been at all gentle with this amp at all its been dropped, left in the rain and generally abused on a regular basis and it puts up with it pretty well .I like this amp (sounds pretty good, cranks out some serious volume, blah, blah) and the fact that it is unknown to the gear snobs around these parts ( i make up all kinds of B.S.stories about it just to mess with em a bit)...but it has had one problem from day#1...
you'll be playing it on the drive channel for a little bit and all's well ,then all off a sudden you have a huge increase in the amount of bass output..which personally I kinda dig....this'll remain for anywhere from 30 seconds to over an hour and a half..then it'll let out a pop and you're back to a normal less bassy state again..
I've had the power supply section of this amp replaced after it decided to calf it during a gig (and it wasn't covered under warranty cuz the amp was used -ouch $$$$) I wouldn't have bothered if i didn't need it for the next gig ..
I kinda wonder if power fluctuation or "dirty" power affect it more than say..my marshall ,kustom or the rest of my amp fleet..they occasionally suffer from slight pops and farts ,but not like this sucker
Also recently the reverb unit starts feeding back when cranked past 4..which ain't all bad ,but is annoying
Anyone else have issues like this?
