I have an FM65 DSP, which is a solid state amp.

On the "clean" channel, I'm getting some break up with a strong pick attack. For instance, playing something like the riff to "Start Me Up" gets a little bite to it, even with the volume at 2.

On the modelling channel, however, the "clean" Tweed and Blackface amps stay clean for the most part. So, I'm writing off structural or speaker problems.

Is the "clean" channel actually a modelled amp with slight overdrive? Or is my amp messed up?
