I just got a Super Champ XD and I am have a great time dialing in different tones. All of you SCXD and VCXD players out there , how about if we share some of our favorite settings. I know there are a few soundclips here on the Fender web site, but lets add a few of our own. I'll contribute a few of my own after I have a few more days with the amp.

Of course the clean channel is superb. Crystal Clear. Just perfect.

I like the overdriven tweed (voice #3) for blues and the Hot-Rod settings for a kind-of Hendrix-Little-wing-SRV-Lenny sounds.
I don't like AT ALL the first British voice. Too thin and artificial. In general not very fond of the british settings.
Blackface is just ok.
The metal voices are quite good actually. Maybe not for metal but nice for some hardrock or loud soloing.

The Jazz voice it's just unusable for me.
The acoustic was actually perfect when I plugged in my Fender CD140 SCE acoustic. With the strat, not so tasty.

From the effects I like the 2nd Reverb and the spring reverb but on FX-Level below 5. But I LOVE the Chorus+Reverb setting... I just love it.
I would like a vibratone+delay. It'd be great.

...oh and I have SCN pickups

Hello Finterra,

I got the litte brother, Vibro.

Usually I'm at:
Gain 2
Volume 3
voice 8
treble 5
bass 5
fx 2
fx/select Reverb large room

Of course I fiddle with the whole ball of wax,
lot o fun.

Cheers.

I have a vibro.

My favorite settings:

Gain:4
Volume:5
Voice:4 or 5
treble:9
bass:4
F/X level:4
F/X:Concert reverb

OR

Gain:8
Volume:10
Voice:5 or 6
treble:9
bass:5
F/X level:2
F/X:Concert reverb

Sometimes I use hot rod voices, with similar settings.
