Picked up a new Blues Deville 4x10 yesterday for 799 at G.C. :D
Awesome amp. Looks like my SCXD is going to get a little dusty now.

Huge difference. I can't go past two or three on the volume in my apartment without bringing the walls down it seems. But it sounds awesome.

Too bad you cant enjoy that tube break up. Do you have overdrive pedal hooked on it?

Right now I have a Boss Blues Driver. I want to get the Ibanez TS808 in the future. Heard some side by side sound comparisons and the difference is amazing. The TS808 sounds so much better.

Or you can get yourself a TS9 and mod it yourself to TS808 specs, save yourself a hundred bucks.

There are tons of TS9 mods out there. If you're handy with the soldering iron it's not a big deal at all. It's fun to experiment. You can even put an IC socket so you can swap between different chips without desoldering.

You can get all the components you need from either Radio Shack or a local electronic company.

I think the IC Chips are like 49 cents at Mouser. Last time I bought 10, makes shipping charges look less ridiculous.

Soldering is not a problem for me, done plenty of it. I'll have to check this out.

Yeah, it was on clearance for some reason. I checked it all out at the store and it's in perfect shape. The footswitch was still sealed and all the paperwork was there. Must have sat in inventory to long or something. Who knows. I'm definitely not complaining.
