I just have to ask and brag a little. My band played the Freedom festival at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton OH this past weekend. If you go to our web site you'll see the pics [www.thissideup.us] I used my SCXD and we had a blast! So far only rave reviews! :D :D :D It is difficult to say how many were there at the end of our show but it was awesome. If you look at the pics you'll see a large crowd. We ended the show with "Sweet Child of Mine and there was a roaring crowd at the end with us throwing picks and beads and buttons out to the crowd and them asking for autographs. Man it was great!

Very cool. Serious rush isn't it? It's not the watttage it's how good the sound reinforcement system is. Remember, Neil Young does it all the time with a 12 watt 5e3 Deluxs.

No, wait, that's impossible! You CAN'T play in front of that many people with such a small amp... why, everybody knows that you have to have at LEAST a 100-watt half-stcack just to play the local Dew Drop Inn!

You could play a big crowd with a 3 watt Pignose. It even has a line out.

The sound system was excellent. We actually used our mixer, A&H GL240024 and our rack with our IEMs and plugged into their system. A friend of ours runs sound for some big Nashville acts and we brought him in for this event for us and he knew the sound team. I don't know how many speakers but it was a system to reach a large audience to both sides. There were 8 huge TV monitors, 4 on each side several hundred yards to either side. The big name act was Aaron Tippin. We play a large variety of music and were called out of the blue to open the show. It was a great experience. The numbers reported now are upwards of 40,000. It was a blast. We played for 2 hours, and received huge applause we we ended. The largest crowd I had played for before was 10,000 indoors. This was outdoor and just amazing. You can see photos at our website www.thissideup.us
