I recently purchased a Fender Champion 600 amp from my local guitar store and have fell in love with the sound of it. I also have a Princeton 65 solid state combo amp. I want to connect the 600 preamp into the 65 preamp for greater tonal possibility and added volume. I bought a speaker cable to do this but I got a horrible hissing and buzzing noise no matter what jack I plugged into. Both amps are fine on their own with no unwanted noise. Is there a set up or cables I can purchase that will help me achieve what I'm looking for?

You could connect the speaker of your Princeton to the speaker input
inside the Champion 600.

Does it sound like you want to use your Champ 600 as a head and the Princeton as the extension cab?
