Can I drive a Satellite SFX amp with the "pre-amp out" from a PigNose? I would line it into the Satellite's input jack, but I would have noplace to run the Satellite's output to. Does the Satellite have to have a load on it's output line? Can it even function as a slave amp, or does it only funcion in conjunction, as part of an effects loop? I'd be really afraid ofcooking the electronics by trying to run it without a load, so I won't invest in one unless I hear definitively from Fender or from someone who has tried it sucessfully.

I'm a bass player (P-Bass, puh-leeeeez!), but I bought a Strat and a PigNose for just noodling around, and I see the Satellite SFX on eBay from time to time for under $200. I just don't wanna spend $200 for it if I cannot use it to bost my PigNose' output.

Thanks,
