Hello,
In January, I purchased a Frontman 15G as part of a strat-pack. One evening, I plugged in my laptop using a regular 3.5mm to RCA type cable via the laptop headphone jack and the aux inputs on the amp. I had done this many times with no issues. The amp buzzed, then died. I opened it up and checked the fuse, and sure enough, blown. Once I replaced it, and powered it up, the fuse blew right away. The amp was only two months old so I had it replaced under warranty, no problems.

Last night, the exact same thing happened to the replacement amp. It didn't buzz like the first, it just died as soon as I powered it up. I didn't even have sound playing from the laptop yet. The headphone output on the laptop is fine, and I've actually used a different machine each time this happened.

I have not had any problems with using a laptop or mp3 player with my Line 6 amp.

Does anyone know of any specific issues with the amp and aux input? I do have an electronics background and may just try to fix it this time, so I can figure out what's happening. Or should I send it out for another replacement?

Chris
