I'd go for the Bandmaster. I had one in 73 and regret ever selling it. It sounded great, was reliable and very gigable. The Princeton RI is in my opinion an over priced glorified practice amp.

The Bandmaster is hand wired and an incredible Blues/ Rock amp with nice breakup., the Princeton is a PCB amp. Don't get me wrong, they Princeton sounds nice but it's hard to gig with unless you mic it.

The Princeton was a step up from the Champ Amp. They are pretty much practice/recording amps. You'll have a hard time getting over a drummer. I have a a 74 Champ that sounds great, and I have played small coffee houses with it.

Ask if the Bandmaster's been re-capped. If it hasn't, it may be a negotiating factor in your favor.

Good Luck!
