I am thinking of picking up either a two year old used blues jr tweed NOS ($~500) with JJ tubes, or a used 90s tweed hot rod deluxe with kendrick brown frame speaker and mesa tubes (~$600). I play at home and don't gig, so I am slightly worried about the HRD being way too loud to play in an apartment setting and getting a good clean tone at a reasonable volume(not talking about bedroom night time playing, just dont want to kill the neighbors during the day). I primarily use a keeley mided blues driver pedal, keeley moded metal zone, and keeley tubescreamer to get distortion at lower volume levels. Price isnt really an issue between the two for me, what do you think the best option is? Also I just noticed I could get a used deluxed reverb reissue for ~600 as well. Any suggestiosn thx

I have both and for your situation i would go with the blues jr or the deluxe reverb.Another choice might be a Princeton Reverb, i believe its the same wattage as the blues jr.The thing about the blues jr is it has a master volume , which means you can lower head room easily .Even the blues jr can be pretty loud in an apartment.
