For my new strat i got a new amp. its an Frontman 15G. For a small amp its loud, and its 38 Watts. I pluged it in and it made my neighbors dogs start barking.Though i Use it as a practice amp.I recomend this amp for Strat users. this packs big distortion.

I have this amp aswell!

The 38W on the back is how much power it uses!
It's actually 15 watts but it's loud!

Great clean tones but the distortion i don't really like.

I have an old '79 Fender Twin Reverb so I would prefer that any day!

But as a practise amp it's great!

Can I make a suggestion? The input jacks on these little amps is a weak point. I purchased 30 of these from Fenders warrantee returns a while back and, of the 30, a good 3/4 of them had broken solder joints on the P/C board where the input jack contacts the board. An easy fix but still frustrating. So, after I repair and give them to the local kids or sell one to cover costs, I recommend to the new owner to plug the cord into the jack and run it under the handle. Then just leave the cord there and don't bother to unplug it unless it is to be moved. This will keep the jack properly soldered to the P/C board. I agree, they are loud for 15 watts.
