i just bought a brand new fender twin reverb 65 re-issue, and after having it for only a month or so am hearing a decently loud crackling noise after warming up for an hour or so. i am in the process of making an album right now and it is inhibiting me from recording, i love the amp but damn, that was way too quick for me, i figured i would start seeing tube issues after a year or two but one month. if anyone can help, please do, thanks.

The five-year warranty is your friend.

Use it!

Is it on one channel or both? If it's on one channel i would first suspect that it is the the 12ax7 tube i would replace it with a known good 12ax7.If you seem to still be getting this after a know tube has been put in i would suspect that is is the plate load resistors that are faulty.I know fender has been getting cheap with parts putting 1/4 watt resistors in when the Schematic's has 1/2 watts resistors.

If you are getting this crackling sound with both channels i would expect that it is the Phase inverter tube, the 12at7 closest to the power tubes. It is a very had working tube. i would swap that out with a know working one.
