Post subject: Reducing the power of my Vibro King?

I have a vibro King and love the amp but I want to use it in my church. The problem is I can't even turn the thing up to 1 with out it being to loud. I have considered getting a power soak but 1st am wondering if it is possable to remove a tube and reduce the power output. Some amps allow you to do this without hurting anything but I am not sure about the vibro king. :?:
