Why not just put it on a chair. It's better to get the amp off the floor instead of tilted. My Twin has legs and I only used them twice in 30 years.

I placed my SCXD (along with a Windsor Studio and an Orange Crush) on a wooden platform, about four inches high give or take, and covered it with a piece of the same carpet the platform is sitting on the concrete on.

Is this ok for the amps (noticed music stores have foam under theirs) or would it be better on legs or just up on a chair? Really what I am wondering is that if what the tube amps are sitting on has an effect on the life of the tubes / components?

I want to retain the bass coupling effect... i dont want to take it off the floor and lose the low end frequencies.

The sound just bounces around the room when the amp's tilted back. If you're close to a wall you won't lose the bass response on a chair. I've been using chairs with small amps for years. My 64 Vibrolux Reverb sounded awesome on a chair. I use my 74 Champ on a chair too. Try it it won't cost a thing. They also sell amp stands that work well too if you can't find legs to fit.

when i move the amp around to different places, i dont want to have to carry a chair around or an amp stand with it. I want the portability of just moving my amp somewhere and just tilt it back.. All i wanted to know was if 14" tilt back legs would work on my SCXD. Thanks for the advice though.

Just measure the side of the amp and make sure the mounting screws from the legs and leg stop don't intrude in the chassis and you should be fine.
