I practically received this amp as a gift from my cousin.

Been having huge amount of problems with it. One of the main ones is the extensive "woooooo" sound it makes when the reverb is all the way up. How can I fix that (if possible...)?

What do you guys think I should do with it? I was thinking of making it into an amp head or trade it in.

Yep the model. Carvin's are usually pretty decent.

Oh man I'm sorry. I don't know where I got Carvin from. That's just the little Crate practice amp. I would open it up and check all the connectors. My nephew had a Crate and the thing would get all noisy and that's all it was, was dirty loose connectors. I tightened everything up and it's still working. Give it a shot, that might be all it is.

The one thing with Crates is that the reverb is really powerful and you don't need to turn it up all the way. I own a GTD 120 and have my reverb set only on 3 which is more than enough.

Mine doesnt get any volume until five. And over 7 it gives out that noise. Weird.
