This is the only footswitch that will work on the SCXD. (That I know of)

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/prod ... sku=482846

It won't let you pick effects but it does turn the selected effect on and off.

I don't have one yet, seems to always be on back-order, but I'm pretty sure it only turns the effect on and off and doesn't let you select from 1-16. You have to set that on the amp. I think. :?

The button on the left switches from the clean channel to the overdrive channel. The button on the right turns the effects on and off. Exactly what they mean by that I'm not sure off because I don't have one yet. I think they are talking about the effects to the far right on the SCXD. Reverb, chorus, vibrato etc... but I'm not sure and it doesn't say in the SCXD owners manual.
Maybe someone that actually has one already will chime in and let us both know what it really does.

mhajje - I have a Princeton Chorus and my footswitch did not work with my SCXD. I bought a different footswitch.

Get the proper footswitch, it's only 20-25 bucks.
