Sorry for another thread about the Deluxe VM but I'm very interested in this amp and but it's a big trip for me to go try one out. I was just wondering a few things for people who own them or people who have tried them.

1. What voicing does the Deluxe VM OD Channel sound like on the SuperChamp?

2. I don't play Metal but I play heavy hard rock. Can this amp's distortion handle that?

3. Does this amp take pedals well like other Fenders? Sometimes I think those digital on-board effects don't mix well with other pedals.

4. The amp sounds kind of digital to me and not real organic from the clips I've heard. Do other people think the same?

Thanks for any input. Overall it looks like a great amp and I can't wait to try one.

Do you know which voicing of the SuperChamp XD sounds like the Deluxe VM? I'm trying to compare the distortion of the Deluxe VM to one of the voicing's on the SuperChamp.

Iv had my SC XD for about a month now and Love it.

The tone for witch you seek is going to be different for everybody, Diff guitar, diff room, diff volume levels. but if you just want to play classic rock any of the British or Hot Rod channels would work. As far as comparing to a deluxe VM JUst use the Blackface settings.
