Hello everyone, new to the forums here. I just bought a Fender Super-Sonic head and 4x12 cab (blonde/Oxblood.) I purchased the amp from a local music store for a good price. The manager told me it had been sitting there for quite a while. I guess half stacks are not selling. Anyway, I was at rehearsal tonight (the first long rehearsal with this amp) and I noticed the power tubes were glowing blue. The sound was good but then as we were playing I noticed my volume getting lower and lower. I put it in standby, then we e took a 15 min break. When I took it out of standby, my volume was right back up where it was at the beginning of practice. I'm thinking maybe the tubes are crap. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
