I have a problem with my Twin Amp. The amp is giving loud crackling noise when Reverb is on (both clean and dirty channel)... but not a consistent problem. It can go months between the accidents. Turning off/on, standby, 1/4 power, adjusting setting on reverb doesn't help.

This happened first after just few months of me buying this amp around 2001 (brand new from Guitar Center). Fender-approved repair facility couldn't find the problem (it wasn't audible when they tested it) -- and they declined to test electrical circuits. I tried re-tubing the amp, checked reverb contacts - nothing helps and amp continues to give problems.

Here is how it sounds: http://www.30daysout.com/shared/fender-twin-amp-2.avi

Any suggestions on this?

Thank you!
Kirill

DUDE you wil shred your speakers with that
you have an electrical arc somewhere take it back to the fender dealr and have them check the reverb circuit and the transformers I'm suprized they didn't do that if they won't find an AMP repair somewhere else!!!!
