Hi Alex. They have the Frontman 212 at the rehersal rooms where we practise every week. I tried it out the first time I was there, but I didn't like it. I was used to a Hot Rod Deville, now I have a Blues Deluxe. For me the Frontman was thin and weedy, had no depth. Clear case of pro-tubism from me I suppose, but I really was disappointed in the Forntman.

Anyway, that's my twopennyworth. I played through it for three hours with my band and thought it was poo. Get an Orange or stick with your Vox. Or try a Fender tube amp!!

I hate the tone of the Frontman so I'd run to the Orange, but I doubt it would be much better. If you're staying in that price range, take your pick.

If not, go pickup an Orange Tiny Terror and a two speaker ext. cab to plug it in...That is if you don't find a good price on a Fender Princeton Recording amp or De Ville along the way.
