I'll have to check that out. When I first tested, it did seem as though the normal channel was warmer.

I think I remember someone saying that channel 1 or channel 2, I forget which, had a transistor or capacitor or something that the other channel didn't have, and this accounts for the extra brightness of channel 2.

Yep, the schematic shows both circuits are identical, except for the cap, up until the reverb and vibrato. People on this forum have talked about removing it, but I don't think it's a big deal. I just turn the treble down to around 5 on the vibrato channel. Actually, I want to buy a reverb pedal and use the Normal channel. I'd like more reverb options and I like the sound of the Normal channel, without the 47pf cap and reverb/vibrato bypassed. I think I'll start a new thread for suggestions...
