Post subject: Princeton 65 amp trouble

I own a Princeton 65 amp. It powers up fine but when I plug in the guitar nothing happen. In order to get it to work I have to loop PRE OUT & PWR IN to get it to work. Can anyone one help?????

Were you using the effects loop before the troubles started?

If so it might be something as simple as a bad jack.

Sometimes the jacks have a little blade in them that gets pushed over to change the signal path when a cord is plugged into them.

Do you hear a hum coming through the speaker amp when it's on and you turn the volume up?
