Hi All!

I've had my 2008 American STD Strat (Sienna, Ash Body) for a while now and have luckily fell into a little bit of pocket money. I absolutely love this guitar and I want something that is going to compliment it's true tone. I think i am after a realy clean, quiet amp. I dont realy play at loud volumes, but would still like the option. I also use a BOSS Blues Driver for when i want some nice crunchy blues/rock lead licks. I'm looking to spend around £500-£600. By quiet i mean minimal hum or hiss when turned on.

Any advice on the perfect partner for 'Ms Sienna Ashley' would be spot on!

Thanks!

Hello,

If you are looking for the classic fender tone of the tube amps then I suggest trying out a Traynor YCV40-WR it is a great sounding amp and great value. I believe it was one of the top rated amp in Guitar World as well. Great bang for the buck!

That translates to about $700 - $850.

The best "clean" Fender amps are considered to be the Deluxe Reverb and Twin Reverb. The Twin is probably too much for what you want. You may be able to find a Deluxe in that price range, perhaps having to go for used.

The Hot Rod series (including the Blues versions) are within that price range too.

Well....got a bargin on a Blues JR (£300) brand new, couldnt let that go. What a difference to My Vox VT30, that tubey tone is MMMMMMMMM! for a 15W it's got some punch, and with my overdrive and wah pedals it's SPOT ON!!! Many happy years ahead i think :D
