I just picked up a ’65 Twin Reverb Amp (reissue) however regardless of how authentic the two-button footswitch is, I need to go with a footswitch with some cahonas. The ¼” cable jack appears to be a stereo jack and my question is would any modern Fender 2-button footswitch (i.e., part number 0994056000 – works with the Twin Amp – channel switching / reverb) work properly if connected to the ’65 reissue with a stereo cable? Thanks.

The footswitch is 2 on/off/ controls. Is it that it doesn't look right? All it does is turn on/off the reverb and vibrato independantly. :?:

I am visual - There is no indicator light per button as on the newer style switches. Also, there is no distinctive click “feel” as with the newer switches. Also, there are too close together for my liking. Kind of picky, but there you have it.

There many switches out there. You can even make your own with a kit.
