I just picked up a 59 Bassman from a Guitar Center.Originally they thought it was a Relic, but i noticed the tweed wasnt laquered and it didnt have the frayed look to the grille. What it was was a heavily used amp.I would like to clean the tweed up and get the dirt off,fix a few of the small tears and maybe laquer it.What do you use to clean tweed with and what type of laquer have you guys been using? It sounds really nice and with a little tlc it will look nice too. couldnt resist the 350 price for the amp.Its a 50th anniversary edition so i think tha makes it an 04.Thanks in advance.

WOW dude 350 is great. I bought one from 1990 and paid 700 for it and wouldn,t part with it for 1000.00. I would use Bullzeye shelac to coat the yweed with.
