I'm in the market for a new amp fairly soon and I want a really nice, crisp clean tone. Which Fender amp has the nicest, cleanest tone? I have a pedal board with a bunch of pedals so I'm not too concerned with a Hi-Gain channel. I was thinking maybe a Blues Junior but I'm not sure.
Any advice on the cleanest Fender tube amp?

Thanks

No doubt about it, Twin Reverb.

Twin Reverb, but it's one heavy beast. '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue if you're looking for easier to move clean tones.

Depending on what type of use (for gigs or at home?) I have the '65 Deluxe Reverb reissue. Plenty of power for a great tone that's not to crisp(unlike the twin reverb which can lose some bottom end) You can always mic the amp through the PA for more volume if you're playing gigs and the sound is fantastic. That's why so many studio classics were recorded with this amp. If it's power you want, get a Super Reverb (4/10 inch speakers) Same one that Carl Perkins played with Johnny Cash at San Quentin and Folsom Prisons.

Another vote for the Twin Reverb - 85 clean watts and tons of head room.

A Super Reverb is clean enough and sounds better with drive pedals than a Twin IMO.

If you don`t need maximum headroom - i.e. a fabulous clean tone at lower volumes - a Deluxe Reverb mght be the ticket.

I've got a killer clean tone with my '64 Vibroverb Custom. The 15" Eminence pounds my brain with Clean bottom end and the highs are crisp. Just as good as a Twin, but better. You could always have your girlfriend carry it. Good luck finding one right now.

Even the Twin cannot approach the awesome cleanliness of the loudest 100 wats of all time... the terrifying Ampeg VT-22 combo. To achieve a gain level where the amp starts to break up requires an FAA permit.

True on the Ampeg and I was going to mention one of those but he asked for a Fender  . I was also going mention a 100 watt Hiwatt as well...those'll take the enamel off your teeth.
