I'm in New Orleans. There was a woodworker that built speaker cabinets and would custom build whatever you wanted for the price...and this is around 1966-7. I had gotten a speaker cabinet book from radio shack I think, and there were dimensions for all sizes of speakers, cabinet wise...ported and un-ported. I brought him a couple of JBL K115 speakers I'd bought with the dimensions for an un-ported cabinet with a partition between the speakers. That thing was BIG. He covered it in the black tolex and used the silver grill cloth, chrome corners...I mean it looked stock except for the Fender logo badge. Sat my '65 Twin on top and plugged it in. That setup ROCKED...wish I still had it.
Can't find what you want, build it or have it built.

I'm not sure what you want in the way of a cabinet but there are some original cabinets avail that are gutted Fender units. These are returns or shipping damaged units that have been gutted of the electrics. The prices are real reasonable and are great for projects. Blue Monkee Industries in Southern California. (949) 500-2569. Ask for Karen, she's a very nice person the do business with.

Visitor #108 here. Got excited when I seen the Marshall for sale at $000.00 but I came back to my senses once I clicked the Add To Cart button.

I was thinking of building my own cab as well, there are a few sites out there with step by step instructions but when I figured the cost of all the parts and the time it would take I decided it was not worth it for me.

None the less if someone here does it, I want to see their step by step progress.

That be the lady. She's so easy to deal with and is just starting out. You won't be unhappy with her. Just remember that what she offers is damaged goods. Some damage is more than others but she will defenately advise you as to condition. Great for DIYers. I purchased 30 amps a while back and salvaged about 10 of them. I have not even tried to do any more at the moment. Her stuff is about the same as those 30 I purchased (from another source), only she deals with fixing some of them before she sells anything. Some are projects and you will know that prior to buying. I just got a Stage 160 from her and it works perfectly after a few small repairs and mods.

I don't know. It's kind of amature to put up an unfinished website. I guess we'll see.

In her defense, she's new at this and that is what makes it easy to work with her. She's a very personable lady and you can see that she is truely happy to make others happy with their purchases. As t the web site, like I said, she's new and not really a big company. She works out of 2 storage sheds. But what she has is to offer is something else. Good exampl: I just purchased a Fender Stage 160 DSP for $100. It was a European model and I had to make a one wire mod to operate on USA voltages. It works perfectly and was a new amp that had never been operated. Now where can you beat that?
