Hi there everyone
I am looking to buy a new amp and I am not sure what amp to buy.
I want an amp to record stuff + small gigs and rehearsals.
I want the best clean sound possible. Distortion is not really an issue.
I am currently looking for a princeton reissue, a supersonic or a blues junior
Thanks! to everyone in advance

If you want clean, clean, clean, I'd avoid all the amps above. They are all more about early breakup than Lindsay Lohan.

On the high end, the Super Reissue and any BF Twin iteration will deliver stunning, sparkling cleans for you all day. Also consider the excellent Jazzmaster Ultralight SS Head (4 LBS!).

Dropping down into the cheap stuff ($500-$600 range) you don't have a lot of choice, just the typical HRD range of amps, which are somewhat darkish and midrangey but can do clean up to a point, but they will start to break up around "4" with HBs.

But avoid BJs, PJs and that Princeton Recording--they really are "designed to grind."

Emil, respectfully you are on the Fender forum. But to answer your question, it depends on the music you play and the sound you're looking for. Only your ears can tell. They are two very different sounding amplifier designs.

Don't forget the 65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue. Great cleans, the classic sound on many recordings. Also breaks up nicely at higher volumes.
