"Slaps cheek & leaves a mark" lol
Now there's a slogan for the marketing folks to run with.
It would be fun to try one out for sure.

Fender - please post a schematic on your amp page.

Was Mr Koch a stand up comedian in the early mid 80's?
I remember seeing someone quite similar on the british version of Saturday night live (a alternative comedy show for upcoming comedians). Playing tennis racquet guitar to a track he'd previously recorded. Very entertaining to a new guitarist for sure.
Ever enigmatic that guy could sell anything. I found myself researching prices after viewing. Alas theres no package prices in the uk.

Well, I had a chance to try one out. Deluxe Reverb controls on left side, sort of Pro Tube Twin controls in the middle, and Jazz Master like stuff on the right. It's tone does not stand out, it is the usual and familiar (I suppose it's a good thing). It is also big, heavy, and only 40 watts. I never liked the head and cab setup due to size and weight. Probably great if you want to body build. The combo version makes more sense.

As for the sales pitch, sorry, I can't buy into chocolatey, smooth, beef, blah-blah. Sounds like McDonald's or Wendy's. Frankly, I just can't understand the metaphors and/or similes (they sound ridiculous to me) and I dislike the hipper than hip lexicon. I'm probably too old to listen to such a pitch or maybe I'm screwed up. But that's my impression for what it's worth - maybe 1 cent if I'm lucky.

Frankly, the best Fender amps are the Cyber Twin and Jazz Master Ultra Lite (which I compared side-by-side-by-side to the BM). For lower cost, smaller size, I would go for the Deluxe Reverb or Princeton. In case anyone is curious, I have several Cyber Twins (and SEs) and I am extremely pleased with them. I recommend SE's to anyone who asks and for those who need maximum portability, and a great sound to match with 250 watts of power, the Jazz Master is one terrific amp. Several of my buds have these and they are very, very pleased. For what that is worth,

Ciao,
Johnny.

I enjoyed the video. He's and incredible player I tried the Bandmaster and found the distortion harsh and unnatural sounding as well as the other effects. The clean tones were okay. I wasn't that impressed with it or the build quality. I know I'll get bashed and I mean no offense if you like it, it's just not for me. I would have liked to see just a plain old reissued Bandmaster with hardwired tube sockets. I had an original and sold it sadly because of financial reasons. It was a great sounding amp.
I guess the younger folks will love all the bells and whistles.

As usual. Greg is Greg. There's no other Greg like Greg. If ever you find another Greg like Greg, don't be fooled, it's just the real Greg

What a funny guy is he. What ever amp he used, whatever if he plays a strat or a tele, Greg sounds like Greg. He has a signature.

Greg plays with .009 and that's in part, why he get that 'a little thin but BIG tone'. Not because he uses .009s, no, because Greg, is Greg. Great is Greg, Greg is Great. Great Greg is Great. That's Greg! What a Greg guitar player!
