Hello Billco,

Firstly. welcome to this forum.

Blues Jr NOS's are made for
Guitar center & Musicians Friend,
same company in reality.

I've noticed some tags on and
some off I have no idea why,
maybe they just run out now and then.

Great amp though, it's my #1.

Cheers.

Musician's Friend owns Woodwind and Brasswind. That's why they're selling the NOS. Anyway, it's a great amp, and I'm jealous of the great price you paid. You're gonna love it.

:D

Mr.Bill was kind enough to set the record straight, not me! :D

On another note, how do so many people here get those great deals? I'm always reading where someone bought their new piece of equipment with a coupon or on sale at one the the big box stores. Whenever I look to buy, those sales never include Fender items. What gives :?:

When I was shopping around I called them up. They were advertising the amp online for $550. I simply asked if they could do better than that. They guy looked up the amp on the computer and realized they had a ton in stock. He threw out $495. This was in November.

I just bought one yesterday. Awesome amp. I also have
a 1994 Vibro King which is my fav Fender amp and was amazed at how good the NOS Blues Jr sounded compared to my Vibro King. Plus it is like
less then half of what the VK weighs!

:D

How is the noise floor on yours. All I have listened to are hum factories. I'm told Fender doesn't charge extra for that option though!

Mine does hum a little bit. I have a Hum X that I use and it helps quite a bit to calm my amps down. :D
