Hey guys (and girls), I know this is more of an opinion question than anything, but I'd like to see what some people think. I'm going to get a new amp, and I love the clean sound of the Twin Reverb. I live in an apartment right now for college, but in less than 2 years I'll be done college and move out to a place of my own hopefully. I'm planning on getting the Twin Reverb RI but I just noticed the blues jr, which seems really popular here. Is it worth it to get the Twin now, and have it for a long time, or to get a blues jr, and then when I have a place of my own where I can really use the Twin get one?

Thanks in advance
Dennis

Is it "worth" it? Hmm ... quite a big price difference between the two. I guess if you can afford the Twin now and you think you'll really use it, go for it. Good long term investment.

A Twin Reverb would be a bit too loud for use in your apartment.
It doesn't sound good at very low volume imo.
The Pro or Blues Jr. are better suitable for home use.
But if you're gigging and go to a rehearsel room, the Twin.
Btw i use a Fender Champion 600 at home and outdoors a Vox AC15.

I have a Blues Jr. and its perfect for the house. I know people who gig with them and say its a good all around amp.

Hmm, now you've got me thinking haha. Can you still get that nice clean tone though? It's really what I'm after.

At home levels you get the real Fender clean sound.
If you use a P.A. system when gigging you can use a mic.
It all depends on how loud the drummer is to use it without a P.A.
