I just purchased and connected a bass amp extension cabinet, the Fender 115 Pro EXT. It has a 15" speaker and a driver horn. It was designed specificaly for the Fender Pro 400 combo (my amp that I connected it to), which has two 10" speakers and a driver horn. The problem I have is that if I turn the voume switch on the extension cabinet's horn, even the slightest amount, when I play any low frequency bass notes, even at low amp volume levels, the horn sounds like it is ripped. It is brand new and has never been played loudly. Does anyone know if the extension cabinet's horn is defective....or is that normal? Thanks! :?:
