Hello All. I've had my Hot Rod DeVille 4x12 for 10+ years now. Still using the original Groove Tubes. Bedroom use only. No gigging. Never turned up above 6. Don't really use the Drive or More Drive channels.

Lately, I've noticed the amp makes a loud popping sound when turned off. The pop is louder when I turned the volume up. Pop only happens when I turn the amp off using only the power switch, or when using the power & standy switches together. Happens regardless of whether a guitar is plugged in. Doesn't happen when I put amp in standby, then turn off.

This is something that's never happened before. Not sure what the cause is. Tube going bad, maybe? This is the only tube amp I have, so I'm not sure if this is normal. Anyone out there with troubleshooting tips or an explanation would be appreciated!

Thank you!
