Just checkin out the new VM series... they look like they will be 1000 times bettewr sound than the Vox that uses 1 tube. Though with Fender I kind of hoped that there would be more than 2 pre 2 power. I do like the DSP but maybe Fender might be able to do MIDI or USB connection to a GUI interface someday.

The Fender Deluxe VM amplifier does look pretty! I imagine that it sounds warm and wonderful, as well. A great blues amp?

I bought a Vox Valvetronix VT30 from GC on Black Friday. I got for $199.99 minus a fifteen percent, holiday discount, which brought the price down to $169.99!!! It was a steal!!!

It is a fine sounding amplifier. And it can get VERY loud!

I picked up a Vox AD50VT-XL, it cranks but it's lacking something...at least from my stand point. I ended up spending more money and getting a used Line 6 Vetta... And believe me when I say... I LOVE THAT AMP. But I have to say that VM looks like it'd be a great little amp to tote to a sit in, or audition. (I'm selling the Vox if anyone is interested...LOL)

My DRRI has 4 12AX7's, 2 for each channel. I assume that the VM will just use the same two tubes for both channels. Also, it has a solid state rectifier and digital reverb and other effects, so it only needs the 2 pre and 2 power tubes. It will be interesting to say the least. Also, it has an effects loop, which is super cool! :D

I'm waiting to hear it. I hope they will post more clips from the Namm show about it.

I've only seen a few pics of this new series. Looks like they're worth checking out. Would definitely be interested in a late 50s, early 60s bassman setup.
