I've got a new set up for a Blues Junior for low volume blues playing that blows me away. Using a Highway one Strat in neck-mid it's sweet, and in bridge-mid it's sharp. Either way, the Blues tone from this set up is awesome. This is at a very low loudness level. First, turn the tone knobs to 4 on the strat, and set up the Blues Junior as follows: bass 8, treble 5 1/2, mid 11, volume (preamp) 9, master (amp) 2 - 2 1/2, go middling on reverb about 6 and disengage the fat switch. Now, play BB's "Goin Down Slow" and get ready for some beautiful music.
