Yes it does, and so does the Band-Master VM Head.

Shane has said there will be introduced at NAMM. See this thread - http://www.fender.com/community/forums/viewtopic.php?t=16410

Might be a little pricey - one British site has some pricing already.

Sounds interesting...I subscribe to FenderMusical vids on YouTube, so I'll be looking forward to hearing them...maybe Greg Koch demo-ing/playing?

So do I - seeing Shane and Greg demoing the amp(s) would be good.

Thanks for your interest. These are super-cool, great sounding amps.

There will be videos posted after we get back from the trade show. Greg Koch...absolutely!

Enjoy and Thanks,

Shane

Can't wait to try this very cool new amp,

I own a super sonic head and I love the gain channel so much,

However I tried a deluxe reverb at my local shop and the clean on that thing is just amazing... so rich and warm with my strat and custom shop 69's... I couldn't stop playing. It beats the super sonic on that side.

I wonder about the sound of the new band master head, since it's all tube, I wonder if the clean will be as rich as on the deluxe reverb and if the gain channel will sound as good as on the super sonic... If yes I might consider switching amps very seriously!

I was in the process of buying a few pedals but I think i'll wait to try this new amp. The princeton chorus amp did not have the warmth of its all tube big brothers but I loved the chorus, so I suppose it should be much alike on the bandmaster head.

I have great expectations for this amp! maybe too great?

I saw the new VM's, they look great, but I'm wondering why they chose to call the combo the "Deluxe VM", since it's a forty watt 6L6 amp, not a 6V6 amp like the Deluxes of the past.. Still it is something I'd like to check out. Also, it's great that they came out with another head/cab amp in the Bandmaster VM, I think we need more Fenders in that configuration!

I'll bet the 6l6s sound punchier and warmer than the 6v6..

Is this the amp they are offering in the Kickoff 2009 contest? It would be nice to win.

Great point about the 6L6 tubes. The '65 DRRI has the most beautiful clean sound I've ever heard. That's why I use it with pedals, instead of a channel switching amp like the Super Sonic or a Mesa or Marshall. I've just not been able to let go of that tone, since I mostly just play clean anyway(with a little boost or mild overdrive). So, I too wonder what role the 6V6's play in this very "sweet" clean tone. Will the 40 watt 6L6's sound as good? Also, I see that it has Digital reverb, not the tube driven, long spring reverb tank of old.
But really, to me, this sounds like the ultimate amp. All tube preamp and power amp, a few DSP effects, plus an effects loop. Oh, how I've longed for an effects loop in my DRRI!
