Well the Bandmaster is dead!

Just kept blowing fuses, after the third fuse I figured I better send it in. Hmm my previous amp is over 20 years old and still works, I guess new stuff is not as rugged.

Yeah, I`m kind of not impressed. Made in Mexico.
Another beef was the head front just falling out. I had to get some velcro and staple it in there myself to keep it in place.
Sounds great though, awesome sound, great onboard effects.
I`ll post what the repair ends up being, just for kicks.

LOL the one I tried in the showroom did the same thing. Only the speaker grill fell off!

Alright, got my amp head back.

Warranty repair of course.

Labor -It says- replace c30, c31,c41,c42,d11,d12,d17 in power supply

Parts IN4006 diodes, 8200pF 1KV ceramic diodes

SO, I know all this stuff crapped out but do not know why!

Anyone know why? Now I have a darned amp I can't really trust, that is probably the worst part.

I don't know man, kind of disappointed I bought from my favorite guitar company now, bummer.

Hi JRmusic,

Sorry about your amp problem. The components that you listed are in the high-voltage DC supply for the tubes. It may have been an output tube that shorted and took out the power supply, or even a bad filter cap in the power supply. Were the output tubes, or filter caps replaced also?

Yep, that's why Egnater uses two fuses, so you won't take out other components if a tube or power supply cap takes a dump.
