First let me say how surprised I was at how good this amp sounds. I paid 189.00 for it new at GC. I bought it just as a novelty as I really didnt need it. It's pretty damn loud too! Loud enough to bother my neighbors as I live in an apartment. Turned all the way up will have the police at my door. I really need to move into house. : )

Ok so heres the down side. At about half volume I start to hear a sizzle souind. I'm pretty sure it's not the speaker. It gets worse the more volume you give it. It's not a speaker fart. It sounds like static or a sizzle sound. I have 30 days to return it to GC so I'm not to concerned. Just wondering if it's anything I can fix.

Take it back and get another one. It's more than likely a preamp tube. They come with some cheesy Chinese preamp tube.

Replace the inferior Chinese pre-amp tube asap.
I replaced mine before switching the amp on when i purchased it.
