8) hi there fender guy,s im new to fender amps and i have a question about my amp but first let me say that my new princeton reverb amp is the best amp for clean i have ever played i love it and it sounds great with my plexitube as well..

now for my question what does v1 v2 v3 and v4 do im shure v1 is input and first gain stage maybe if someone could help here that would be great..

You can download a schematic from the Fender site and review. V1 is the input / first gain tube as you say. If you follow the schematic, you will see how the various tubes used throuhg the signal path. Hope this helps!!! I bought the Princeton Reverb re-issue, nice amp. Great tone!!!

The Vs refer to different modulations available with reference to the schematics, although the best approach is to simply experiment to see which effects and sounds suit you best.
