I'm interested in buying a Blues DeVille and the Fender specs indicate an effects loop. Looking at the pics I don't see one. For those that have one of these, does it in fact have an effects loop?

Thanks

My 1993 original does not.

it does have a preamp out and power amp in.

That's what confuses me. Is the power amp in = yo the effects loop in..ditto the preamp out? These descriptions seen to describe the location in the tube order in which the effects loop is positioned. Any thoughts on that?

Thanks!!!!!!

Sorry that is as far as I can get you on this topic.

Are they the same animal ?????

I have never used an effects loop in my life and do not even really understand the reason to have one.

We need an effects savy amp person to get to the bottom of this, I assumed the preamp out and power in was to run multi amps together and I have indeed used it as such.

It is indeed a buffered effects loop. Preamp out= send, Power amp in= return. TL072 op amps are used. Works good with modulation effects, distortion needs to be in front of the amp.

Wah Wah pedals are like a sweep equalizer. I like mine in the front.
