Just put up a youtube vid of my new Strat. Using a strat instead of my tele but just got the strat so had to try it out. I have the flu, feel like crap, am super stressed but hey, had to try the new guitar! Im not a great player but just 2-3 minutes of some moody reverb sounds. I really love this amp for low volume home use.

Am Standard Strat, middle pickup - amp - volume 4, bass 9, treble 4, reverb 8

Also, looking for anyone out there that can help me with some thumbs up votes! I made the top 12 in a Gibson contest using my Tele/PRRI and need some thumbs up to win. Im a little down at the moment but can catch up as everyone else seems to be falling and my son is now voting for me 3 hours a day! Im the 1st vid on the page, upper left if anyone wants to check it out and give me a TU vote! THANKS!

1st vid, upper left!

You got my vote!

FYI - the link to the Gibson page on the YT video is bad - you're missing the "x" on the end ...

I hated this amp when I first got it, but I hung in there and now that the speaker is getting broken in the sound is there. I'm glad I didn't get rid of it. +1 on the video!

Hello Stevehuff1,

Those new Princetons are super nice
beautiful cleans and reverb.
but a wee bit pricey for many.

Nice little dog.

Cheers.

no standby switch,,i love my princeton too it inspires me to play more and more everytime i plug it in with my strat..i call mine my bliss machinne lool..wen i auditioned mine i put it up against a 65 ri reverb of some kind a twin a hot rod delux and a blues junior and pro that they had in the shop and by far very far the little princeton was the most beautifull sounding amp of all its hard to believe the big sound that come out of such a little amp..

I tried the new PRRI and loved it. I was all set to buy one but I was put off by the price. It's just much too high for what you get. At least the price of the vintage Princetons are coming down probably from the bad economy and maybe because of the availability of the PRRI. I think I'll start shopping for an original again.

My wallet isn't as deep as it was a few months ago. Got laid off and picked up another job that paid less. Anyway, in my more honest moments I'll admit that my meager guitar talent probably doesn't justify the investment in gear that I've already made.

Thanks for the replies! I picked up the PRRI new in box from MF for $719. Great price considering no other amp in this price range sounded even close to it. Ive tried $1500 amps that paled in comparison. This one is a keeper!

The new Princeton reverb is the best investment I have made ,I got rid of a 1980 twin(to heavy)
I started playing again after 12 years, make a long story short after spending thousands of dollars on all kinds of hand wired amps, this princeton is a small twin , best clean ever, thought of changing the cheap speaker, but it sounds great (c10R) not playing out anymore, and lugging heavy amps is not fun, this is the best sounding amp ,pcb board or wantever, who cares, I am a electronics rep, if the boards are done by a good board stuffer, it's just as good , everyone is doing PCB boards, they have to be good , Fender is a big company, to much at stake
I think it's loud enough for small gigs, or get an extension cabinet
