i just purchased a frontman 25r from my local store.

my problem with it is that the moment i swtch it on there is noise coming out from the amp even when i put my volume down to ZERO. checked through my pedals and my guitar and i kind of concluded that it's the amps fault. is it because the amp is not properly grounded or something?

any help people?

I have a 25R I just got and it doesn't do that. I would think it is noise in the electric line. Try a different circuit. And another thing to try is get a 3 prong to 2 prong converter. SOmetime that will fix it. Just emlimanate the 2nd ground in the plug is what that does. And sometimes it will take noise away from a gorund loop. If it works, I would get a power conditioner if you can't find the source. Then you can use it wherever you play and don't have to worry about noises in the electrical lines.
