hey guys. i recently bought a brand new Blues Junior, and a 08 american standard stratocaster. i LOVE the beautiful tone these beasts produce. but i just feel like i get a very trebly sound, even after i spend time messing around with the bass and trebble on my amp, or the tone and volume on my strat.

what do you guys recommend. as tone is extremely important for me.

OH and do you guys recommend anything ells i can add to my setup. i have a blues j, the 08 mim strat, a cry baby jim dunlop, a chorus pedal ( which i never use ), a boss od, and a useless boss phase shifter.

thanx in addvance

i found the blues jr far too bassy. certainly not the classic fender tone i was after. Far less treble than either of my marshalls or my watkins clubman.
First off i'd try linking all of your pedals up but switched off. The signal degradation may help a bit. Then i'd investigate valve options, although i cant see anything providing more bass than a ecc83 and their tonal differences are minimal. Next i'd look at a quality 15" speaker, get a good one though a bad one will just sound flabby.
