How should I set my bass amp's equalizer settings if I'm playing Alternative/Rock songs like Fall Out Boy and Paramore?

It has these settings:
40 HTZ, 140 HTZ, 400 HTZ, 1.5 HTZ, and 4000 HTZ.

Thanks :)

Man, that's tough one. I'd have to actually listen to it in person. Usually though, I leave mine basically flat, withe a slight boost in the bottom and top. Too much low-mid will make your tone muddy. You certainly don't want that. The mids I like to leave flat, or slightly boost or cut depending on the room. The highs I either boost slightly or I leave flat. Sometimes for country music I'll roll off the highs with the tone knob on the bass guitar a little. Hope this helps. Whatever you do though, I wouldn't boost or cut the EQ settings dramatically.
