Or are there others our there that are better ?
(quality, durability, features and functionality like microphone and additional instrument input, etc. . )

What should I be looking for in an electric acoustic amp ?

I will use it to play in home but also at small venues all the way up to larger auditoriums (that will also have a pa system that I can mike the amp to).

I have an Acoustasonic SFX II and I love it . It is great for small to medium venues and has the microphone channel too! I've not tried the Acoustasonic Jr. but it might do you fine too! If you have not tried one I suggest you do so before buying ! 8)
I forgot! Welcome to the forum and keep us posted!! :)

I have the acoustasonic junior. I plugged my Sterling Audio ST51 condensor mic into the XLR input and I get very low volume out of the speaker. Is there something that I am doing wrong? The guitar is nice and loud on 2 or 3 volume but the mic volume is on 10 and I can just barely hear the output from the mic. Can any help?

Does the Jr. have a completely different channel just for PA usages? I know the 2 has it and surround sound speakers that you can adjust from just the front, side speakers and surround sittings and is just as loud and has all the effects as the guitar channel Plus they can be set differently than the guitar.

Here are the specs of my amp. please read this and next post and it will explain how you don't need a PA system with this amp

For a condensor mic, you will need phantom power. Does your amp have a +48 volts switch/button?

You should read all the links I gave you completely. I'm not much on PA and mics. I never use them that's why I'm selling the amp. I bought it and really did not need it. I'm impulsive like that. Sorry I can't explain any more than these links do. I do know that it is a wonderful amp for acoustic guitar. :) I do know one thing(I think) it's the best acoustic amp Fender sells. I believe there are 2 cheaper models.

Disclaimer: I'm not trying to sell anything on this site! Against the rules.

Good luck my friend! :)
