I know of a Deluxe Reverb that has been lacquered and the speaker has been replaced with a Celestion for sale for $300.

Does that sound like a good deal. I know these go for $900+ new but was woundering if any of you out there would avoid this due to the mods. I played it earlier today for a few and it sounded good.

Opinions?

Is it the tolex that has been lacquered? Or the grill cloth or what? If the amp works good then yes, that's a great deal. Jump on it.

The tolex has been lacquered and the grill cloth is the tweed color as well. It does look pretty good.

Hello Bradleyjp25,

300 bucks is a very good deal.
I'm pretty anal about changes
to original condition but for that
amp at that price I'll take one.

Cheers.

That sounds pretty cool. I'd love to see some pictures of it if you end up getting it.
