how do you do this? i love my blues junior at low volumes (as in 2 master) and the gain is actually heavy, but thats got to do with my playing style, and its very mid rangey. when i crank the amp however, it gets gross and gritty.

so does anyone know of a way to get a modern tweed sound with a pre-amp distortion sound only, without micing the thing? i cant mic becuase i jsut want to have band practices so micing would be unpractical.

im wondering if theres any products or anything else to do this...
