I think i may be asking to the wrong people but...
I`m in between a Fender Hot Rod (212 or 410 or Deluxe) or a Marshall JCM800 Combo amp...

My kind of music is really somthing like:
-Heavy Metal (Zakk Wylde, Motorhead, Pantera, Iron Maiden, till somthing actual)
-Glam Metal (Twisted Sister, Motley Crue)
-Hard Rock (Rage Against the Machine, Bon Jovi, Quiet Riot)
-Old Rock (Ozzy, Jimi Handrix, WASP, Van Halen)
-Petrucci, Satriani, Steve Vai, Jeff Back, Paul Gilbert and etc

(price is between 600 and 900 dollars....

Hello seskiller

Your asking the right people, but heres the thing, What sounds best for you?
All of those amps are top notch! They are also very loud :D So if your playing in small spaces (basement, living room etc.) they will be overkill, remember, amps like these need to be "unleashed" to get the full quality.
On the other hand if your playing in larger halls they will be great!
Good Luck

Bill

Jcm 800 all the way. Its a dedicated metal amp, that does clean up well. I like em so much i bought 2. A 2203kk head and a 4211 combo with reverb and channel switching. Lots of people knock the 4211 because of its diode clipping. but with effort its got sounds every bit as good as the 2203 which also uses diode clipping too. Its never going to nail a knopfler or les paul tone. It does go from clapton era beano to slayer tones though.

That all depends... the HR Deville 410 , I think, will do it. But if you want Marshall tone, go with the Marshall. You are really comparing apples to oranges, as a Fender isn't going to sound like a Marshall, or vice-versa.

If you want to rock and handle the metal, get the Marshall. You must have deep, deep pockets though. ??? The Fenders aren't cheap, and the Marshalls are way expensive.

The whole Hot Rod series don't do metal well. Rock, Blues yep, Metal is a whole different thing. Go with the Marshall.

Even with pedals the Hot Rods don't really do Metal.
