I've had this amp since 1996 and its been through hell. It still works just as great as the day I bought it used from some guy who I found in the recycler. I've seen a few different ones, mine has one 12 inch speaker and two channels (clean/distortion) and it has a box in the back with springs in it for the reverb. You can find these for pretty cheap sometimes and they are really loud.

Lately I have been using my M-80 a little more. I thought it had a bad buzz, but it must have been something else. I have been comparing it with a Blues Jr. and for solid state, it compares very well. If you work the settings, in some cases better.

I was wondering what would be a good speaker to either swap out or add on using the jack in the back. Mine is getting old and I thought maybe I'd get more sounds out of the amp, since it is rated at 90 watts.

Also, what would be a good pedal to get more of a tube sound out of it?

Dan
