Hello... I'm just trying this out, & it took some time to figure out how to post. I hope I'm actually communicating right now, but frankly, I'm unsure. At any rate, I've just ordered a new Acoustasonic Ultralight amp & cabinet, and I'm wondering if anyone else out there has any feedback on them. I've played professionally for 35+ years, and I'm in southern Wisconsin. I'll be the first around here to be using the Acoustasonic Ultralight rig, and when I open up the shipping crate will be the first time I actually lay eyes on one. I ordered it on the strength of my trust in Fender amps (my current electric amp is the '65 Twin Custom 15 --- FABULOUS!) and the fact that the review for it on Harmonycentral is the first & only time I've seen a rating of ALL TENS ACROSS THE BOARD. So, now I wait and hope that the anticipation doesn't kill me dead. Any comments? ... Steve

You'll be impressed with the unit all the way around. I purchased my unit back in April of 2006 and I love it! One suggestion, get two speaker cabs for it ... unless it's the Jazzmaster and then you are limited to just one. The use of a passive volume pedal like the Ernie Ball Jr really works great with it. All of your DSP selections are more than you need! The XLR input works great with a Shure SM58. I find that the Planet Waves cables work the best, although Monster cables are pretty sweet, too! If your guitar endjack is stereo-fitted, you'll really be in luck! Packing up and traveling with the unit is the most convenient thing of it all! I play a Martin 00016GTE and a Taylor NS32ce through it and the sound is ever so natural and warm! Once again, you made a very wise choice!
